  • 4 months.

4 months has gone by so fast.  you are such a happy little guy.  so quick to smile.  talking all the time.  you love to chew on your tongue and your fist.  so ticklish... and your daddy loves to tickle you to hear you laugh.  you don't like new places.  you have just discovered your feet. you're rolling over both ways.  you're sleeping great most nights and just moved to your own room.   like your brother you are happy to play in your bed in the morning.

amazing how in just these few months i already love you so much and can't imagine our lives without you.

  • we have a very cool park just about 5 minutes from our house that has a huge fountain and a great playground.  we met a few friends there this morning.  noah wasn't so sure about the water at first... but soon warmed up to it.

don't know if you can tell in this picture, but he's showing me his scraped knee.  he started crying and ran up to me saying "booboo" and wanted me to kiss it for him.   think this is his first of i'm sure many scraped knees.

i'm loving that he's starting to talk now.  this week he's also started saying "poop" and "munkmunk" for chipmunk.

  • father's day.

i am so thankful for kris.

he is such an amazing father to our two boys.

he is so patient with them.

    so loving.

he loves to play with them - lead them, guide them, seek God's will for them, and teach them about God.

he is such an encouragement to me!  he is always so ready to help out as soon as he gets home from work even though he's exhausted i'm sure after a hard day of physical work.  giving noah a bath almost every night, getting him to bed, helping with dinner, and dishes.

thanks babe for being such a wonderful father to our boys - happy father's day.
    i   l o v e   you.

  • our birds.

kris' parents gave me a hanging basket for mothers day.  within a day of hanging it up we discovered a pair of robins building a nest.  its been fun to watch the nest slowly come together... then eggs started appearing... and within a couple weeks, the babies started hatching.

mom & dad work constantly feeding these little babies...

wish i'd taken a picture when they first hatched... i looked at them today and couldn't believe how big they had gotten!
